Our company was founded in 1971 as a family-owned business producing wooden ammunition boxes for the US government. As the need for small-caliber munitions declined in the late 1970s, we shifted our attention to commercial wood packaging in addition to government box lines. We bought a wood component processing factory in the late 1990s to expand our product line and processing capabilities.
Since then, SFP has been meeting the need for high-quality, low-cost custom wood packaging.
Today, all processing and assembly occur at a single location in Fort Ripley, MN, just north of the Twin Cities. We have more than 50 years of experience in the field, so you can count on us for all your wood packaging needs.
